Hyundai is one car manufacturer that has really shot up in India than any other car manufacturer in the country. It holds the current second position in India and its cars, especially the i10 is one of the most popular cars in India. While, talking about the i10 sales, it has been really good in India and the car makers domestic market Korea, but the car is having a tough time in Europe, where it is competing with rivals from Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda.

Thus, the only option for the South Korean automobile giant is to reveal an upgraded version of the i10 hatchback. Thus, an all new i10 is expected to head the car markets in 2014 or even sooner. Not only that the next generation i10 is also being spotted testing on the roads.

According to the sources, it is also revealed that the i10 next generation is being developed as a global car and is going to make appearance in the US christened as the Brilliant.

Like most of the cars with the contemporary design, the i10 will be designed using the Fluidic design, with large headlights and fog lights. The engine for the new car will include a next-generation 1.1-liter CRDI turbo diesel with variable geometry, pumping out 75 PS, while the petrol engines will be a revised version of the current motor.

Looking at the side profile of the car, it can be said that the all new Hyundai i10 is a bit bigger than the ongoing model. The engine seems to have moved a bit forward, which has in turn increased the front overhang which will also create more space for passengers. The new cars aim seems to be creating more space for the passengers in the front.

The brand new Hyundai i10 is expected to be introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 in September, 2013. Post the unveiling it should be available in the market for sale from January 2014 onwards.
