Leading car manufacture in India, Honda always aims at producing premium cars and caters to every need of its customer. The company was established in 1997 in the country and ever since is responsible for manufacturing world class cars for the Indian customers. The company continuously strives for a harmonious flow of work and that is the reason why it has been able to secure a position in the top-notch.

Honda India has produced great car models like Honda Brio, Honda Amaze, Honda City, Honda Accord and Honda CR-V. The company comes up with advanced design and technology with its each new model apart and can be easily trusted with basic qualities of reliability, durability, and fuel-efficiency. Apparently Honda has leader in every segment of car; be it a sedan, a hatch back, a SUV or a luxury car. The company has four successful running cars in the country; let us glance over them to find out what makes them leaders in their respective segments.

Honda Brio:

This elegant and beautiful hatch has an engine which is of 1.2-litres, 4 cylinder 16 valves, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine. The car is capable of generating 86.8bhp of peak power @ 6000 rpm and offers a maximum torque output of 109Nm @ 4500 rpm and the fuel supply system used by it is PGM-Fi type. Honda Brio has 5 speed automatic transmission systems and is likely to perform well in the urban areas due to its high torque at low rpm. The engine is based on the advanced i-VTEC technology, which assures high power and less fuel consumption. The broad wheelbase and compact body makes sure that the ride is controlled. To make it safer; two front airbags have been installed and the car has been endowed with Anti-lock Braking System, EBD and Brake Assist function to improve vehicle control. The car has four doors and is designed to accommodate 5 passengers. It assures ample of boot space and on the whole complete interior comfort.  The car is priced between Rs 4, 12,000* – Rs 6, 09,000*(Delhi ex-showroom).

Honda CR-V:

Honda CR-V can easily accommodate five passengers. The interiors of the car are impressive and include soft tones of ivory and black leather upholstery that matches well with the quality image it carries on the exteriors. There is ample of room for the front occupants, comparatively sufficient legroom for the back seat passengers. This car is endowed with dynamic engines, which make sure that the car runs with efficient speed. Honda India offers two engine options, which are responsive and extremely active. Honda CR-V 2.0 litre 2WD MT has a powerful 2.0 litre i-VTEC petrol engine and gives out peak power at 6000 rpm along with 190 Nm of torque @ 4200 rpm. The engine also has 6 speed manual transmissions. CR-V comes with Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure with G-Con technology, 6 SRS airbags and 17 inches of alloy wheels to make the ride smooth and bump free.

Honda Amaze:

Being the most anticipated car of the year, Honda Amaze is definitely offers something new in terms of performance, power, looks and the price. Honda festooned Amaze in a dual toned design with black and beige color. The front dash is discreet for the co driver and the audio system.  The car comes with two engine based on the fuel types. Manual and automatic variants are also available and have a 1.2-litre capacity for the 4-cylinder, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine and the 4-cylinder, DOHC; i-DTEC engine is offers 1.5-litre capacity. The average power given out by the petrol engines is of 86.7bhp at 6000rpm with 200Nm at 1750rpm torque and the diesel variant gives out 98.6bhp at 3600rpm with a promising torque of 109Nm at 4500rpm. Honda India offers McPherson Strut suspension in the front and torsion beam suspension in the rear for Amaze, which offer smooth drive. The VX version of the same comes with front dual SRS airbags which offer safety provision for the vehicle. The care is priced between Rs 4, 99,000* – Rs 7, 60,000* (Delhi ex-showroom).
