The Amaze has generated incredible profits for Honda since launch; the car is a sedan version of Brio. An interesting fact to consider with Amaze is this is the company’s first ever diesel project. The exteriors of Amaze are completely different from Brio, the creases and roofline in side is one striking difference. On the rear, the tail lamps are artistically designed; the prominent chrome that travels across the rear is another impressive ingenious feature. The Amaze portrays a professional and modern image from all angles.

With respect to interiors, the car is identical to any Honda car launched, and is identical to Brio. The interiors sport a premium atmosphere, the steering wheel is mounted with audio controls in the most loaded version. The boot space is an important point to absorb; a volume of 400 liters will benefit those who are frequent long distance travelers. The main concern is the seats at rear do not fold.

The car is equipped with a powerful 1.2 liter petrol engine with a decent 18kpl mileage. The Amaze diesel is inserted with a potent 1.5 liter engine with advanced iDTEC technology that churns impressive efficiencies of 200Nm peak torque and 100PS power. The mileage released by diesel is known to be the best in its class at 25.8kpl. In terms of safety, the car is fitted with standard safety features like EBD and ABS in all variants. The car is priced from Rs5-7.8 lakhs.

The Chevrolet Sail is designed with artistic insertions with an admirable style quotient. The fashionable exterior is contributed by the head lamps and grille, the rear is designed with creatively designed head lights. The interiors of Sail depict elegance and style, to cater to optimum consumer comfort there are a range of gadget equipments. There are electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, power windows at the rear, internal rear view mirror, foldable seats, and head rests for front seats which can be adjusted, sun visor and so on.

The Sail is built with world class safety features such as EBD and ABS, remote central locking, engine immobilizer, keyless entry, security alarm system, driver’s seat belt, key reminder alert, child protection lock, air bags for driver and passengers. There is McPherson mechanism to absorb harsh impacts. There are disk and drum brakes for front and rear. The car is priced from Rs 5-7.6 lakhs

The Amaze and Sail are on par with the exterior design, the Sail however exhibits amazing interior fitments for a luxurious atmosphere compared to Amaze. In terms of safety the Sail is a better option. Both the cars are priced to suit customer demands.
