If ever there was a dazzling entry made at the 2015 New York auto show, then the accolades should deservingly go to Honda’s Civic Coupe concept that stirred several prospective buyers. The lime green car represents a deep-seated styling design that suits perfectly with the Honda’s U.S. lineup. The next-gen Honda Civic is surely set to bring all the oomph and chutzpah that had taken a bit slide from the compact market. The critics do matter in this situation when the company desires to make a breathtaking come back especially with its all-new Civic Coupe.

As for the Associated Press, if the Civic Coupe is exactly as it stood at the New York auto show, then it will be a terrific comeback made by this variant from Honda with its remarkable appeal and all-new design. The critics at the Associated Press has opined that the vehicle looks like Honda is all set to take calculated risks, unlike what it did when it had launched the standard Honda Civic some four years back. The sporty lime-green metallic coupe is certainly panned with a lengthier hood, 20-inch wheels and a relatively giant-sized rear spoiler with a design good enough to tackle the current Civics’ handling and dull appearance.

As for the Kelley Blue Book senior analyst – Karl Brauer, this Civic variant is a massive improvement that reckons to re-establish the fun-drive that used to enthrall drivers some years back. With several high-tech drivetrain options, next-gen Civic is said to be one of the viable versions from a Japanese company in the U.S. having an optimal blend of advanced technology with turbo power.

According to the Automobile, the latest Civic coupe surely sums up as an amped-up concept car that Soichiro Honda would have certainly sanctioned. On the other hand, Aaron Robinson from Car and Driver sates this next-gen Honda Coupe to be the ideal return of sporty cars good enough to re-define all what model handling and refinement means. With a longer and broader appeal, this new variant is by far much sexierthan the older variant of Coupe. Aaron has praised the production values this Coupe variant would incorporate in it. The Torque news has described it as the next big thing in the development of Honda Civic.

Christopher DeMorro, Gas2: Burn Rubber, Not Gas, calls this new Coupe look to be extremely aggressive in form. However, he states that Honda will be looking to take a big risk by transforming its global Civic make into single chassis construction. According to DeMorro, Honda should be able to save manufacturing costs if it can rationalize the design process and skip hordes of diverse versions to piece together. This Civic version will be a favorite if all varieties of the Honda Civic set its foot-hold in the US America. Jerry Hirsch from the Los Angeles Times has referred to the next-gen Coupe’s 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine to be distinctive appearing just like the port which the jet engine exhaust has.
