With the launch of Brio, the small car, Honda has again entered into the hatchback segment with fresh attire. Honda launched Brio the previous year and is a low priced and an affordable car. In India, Brio is the second car after Jazz. Even if Brio is sold in a low price, the styling has been done in such a way that it looks very stunning. Launched in striking colour options, Brio seems enjoying a nice position even in this competitive market. Ford has launched its hatchback Figo which is not only a small car but has everything that a small car owner wishes to have. Since it is a compact car there are some limitations. Figo has been designed and engineered by Ford Australia. It has joined the competition in the market with a hope to emerge as number one. The exteriors of these two cars are being compared.

Brio basically is a four door B segment hatch that comes with contemporary yet stylish looks. At the front of this car, there are creases on its body. Since the front is a bit low slung, it looks calm. The nose of the car houses the logo of Honda which is chrome finished. The headlamps of the car resemble the sharp eye of the cat that provides a different and impressive look of the car. The car looks appealing as its upper and the lower grille melts in a wonderful shape. Inside the headlamp cluster, turn indicators have been housed making it a single assembly. The OVRMs and the door handles are painted in the same colour as that of the car. The rear of the car is wide and at the same time upswing. The wide stance of Brio enables in better handling and road grip. Alloy wheels support the car further. The rear glass of the car has a smoked out effect.

Ford has designed the exterior of Figo with tremendous effort and has created a look which is different from the other cars. Thus it is counted among the best creations of the company so far. So the front of the car has been given a balanced look because of the placement of all the features in a specific way. The headlight cluster comes with bright lights which are big and bold and are shaped like a human eye. The headlamps have halogen lights and turn indicators are housed in the same cluster but above the headlights. The fog lamps are incorporated in their respective slots. The slim upper grille has the logo of Ford placed centrally. The bumpers, side view mirrors and door handles comes in body colour. The car has a sleek roof antenna. The tail lamps are placed vertically at the rear.

In between these two hatches, Honda Brio is a much trendier looking car than Ford Figo. Both the companies have worked upon their hatches and have given much effort. So the choice rests upon the customers.
