Honda along with the introduction of new stunning high-end cars has also won points in the NHTSA Five Star Club. The 2013 Honda Accord is the new kid on the block from the company to be conferred with five stars form the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The Honda Accord is the ninth generation of the highly famous sedans to highly qualify in three out of four NHTSA crash tests with an outstanding five-star rating. The Coupe has not been tested by the NHTSA, but will surely rank high in crash tests.
The Accord has cleared the crash test in the many essential safety categories being, overall vehicle safety, frontal crashes, side crashes and rollover tests. The Accord earned a remarkable rating of four in frontal-crash testing. Honda Accord has out beaten many of its newly designed 2013 counterparts being; the Nissan Pathfinder SUV, Infiniti JX SUV, and the Lexus IS 250 and IS 350 sport sedans. They earned an overall rating of four stars. The 2013 Accord sedan scored high even in the tougher, new small overlap frontal crash test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Honda cars have made a huge comeback in 2012, compared to last year sales. During the previous year the company suffered my setbacks, in terms of the uncontrollable natural disasters. The confirmation of five star rating to the 2013 Honda Accord Sedan, in the overall safety criteria, clearly depicts the excellent skill and creativity of the company. The car has overtaken its other stiff counterparts, even the stunning looking Lexus car and other sport sedans.
The 2013 Accord Sedan has proven to crack the toughest safety tests, which makes the occupants, experience a very luxurious and stress free ride.
