Honda 2003 Accord ad voted best car ad of all-time

Honda’s 2003 cog advert has been branded with the best car ad of all time in a new poll.  The poll was conducted by Auto Express through readers. The Accord ad received 31 % votes with Ford’s ad for Puma which cast Steve McQueen with Peugeot 206 advert taking the second spot and ‘’The Sculptor’’ received the third best rating.

Readers had the choice of picking their favourite car advert from a list of probably the twenty best adverts. The twenty adverts had been shortlisted by expert magazines with advertising agency rep. According to reports from Stuff.co.nz, Honda’s cog excelled in all categories of car ads. The highlight of the advert is it is extremely watchable, well choreographed add with an excellent soundtrack.

The ad received enormous votes with excellent advertising creativity which comes as no surprise as to why it should fit in the number one spot. According to a report developed by creative advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, the ad shows enhanced media graphic creativity of a cog rolling gently down a wooden plank, bumping into a larger cog. The scene is later followed by a chain reaction where a huge range of Accord parts roll into each other. According to reports the ad is highly watchable to an extent that, you just don’t want to witness the final scene.
The advert is a product of excellent graphic creativity created by excellent marketing heads. The advert enhances the spectator’s enthusiasm to want to purchase the 2003 Accord. Honda   has always delighted the public with its spectacular cars. These cars have always been raved about for its excellent engine performance, exterior design and interiors.
