New Hyundai Santa Fe spotted in India

Hyundai Motor is India’s favorite brand that has been seeing a steady growth in the domestic market. Hyundai makes sure that its consumers are always happy by providing great new cars as well as refreshed versions of its bestselling models. The South Korean auto giant is also acclaimed in the global market for its amazing servicing and safety measures.

Hyundai Motor has released its all new Santa Fe 2013 in the U.S market, which is selling in great numbers and now appears that the car manufacturer is all set to replace the ongoing Santa Fe in the Indian market with the next generation 2013 model of the car. This fact is rather clear as the all-new 2013 Santa Fe has been spotted being tested on the Indian roads. This brand new model made its first appearance at the New York Auto Show 2012 and is anticipated to hit the Indian roads by second quarter of 2013.

The new Santa Fe 2013 appears to be a great stunner with its latest design based the Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy that is being incorporated in all latest Hyundai models. Hyundai Motor claims that this design is inspired by the strong and dynamic images that are created by nature during the formation of storm, and this fact is clearly evident in the arresting front-fascia the car. Needless to say, looks wise the Santa Fe 2013 is great leap over the design elements of the ongoing model.

The next generation Santa Fe 2013 will be powered by a revamped 2.2-litre diesel engine that churns out a 200 PS of power and 431 Nm of torque as compared against the current engine’s output of 197 PS and 420 Nm. Moreover, like the current model, the Santa Fe 2013 is also going to be a fully imported vehicle in Indian market. However, Hyundai Motor India could even consider taking the CKD route in order to locally assemble the car and tag the car with a very competitive pricing.
