Honda Amaze Petrol – The amazing sedan

Honda Cars India, the leading company of premium cars in the country has created a huge wave by launching its compact sedan, Amaze. Launched on the 11th of this month, the Amaze marked its maker’s entry into the diesel car segment of Indian. The Amaze compact sedan is said to be the perfect amalgamation of superior technology, great performance, great space and comfort along with peerless fuel efficiency.

The Honda Amaze is offered to the Indian car consumers in a first time diesel as well as a petrol variant. While the Amaze diesel is powered by Honda’s latest offering of i-DTEC diesel engine, the car’s petrol variant features the very powerful i-VTEC petrol engine that powers the popular Brio hatchback.

The new Amaze diesel with the 1.5L 4 cylinder DOHC i-DTEC diesel engine is the most fuel efficient car in India that provides a stunning mileage of 25.8 km per liter.

The Honda Amaze petrol on the other hand, is powered by the Honda Brio’s 1.2L 4 cylinder SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that has the capacity of delivering a maximum output of 88 PS at 6000 rpm and a maximum Torque of 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. The petrol powered Honda Amaze sedan also gives a very impressive fuel economy in the segment. As per test data, the Amaze petrol variant delivers a fuel efficiency of 18 km per liter for the manual transmission version and 15.5 km per liter for the automatic transmission. The emission from the Amaze meets the stringent Bharat Stage 4 emission standards.

The Honda Amaze also exceeds customer expectation by striking the right balance between the interior space for the rear seats and a very roomy boot. The superior and comfortable interior space delivers great knee clearance along with superior head and leg room for the passengers inside the cabin. The car also offers a class leading boot space of 400L accommodating 2 medium sized suitcases and 2 small sized luggages.

The Amaze comes with Advanced Compatibility EngineeringTM (ACETM) body that enhances self-protection while minimizing damage to other vehicles in the unfortunate event of a collision. The Amaze also comes with world class safety features including Dual SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Pretentioner seat belts with load limiters and impact minimizing headrests. The ABS with EBD is being offered as standard across all diesel and automatic variants. The front body structure of the Amaze comes fitted with Pedestrian injury mitigation technology that absorbs impact energy.

Honda Amaze will be available in six exciting range of colors – Majestic Blue Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Taffeta White.
