Honda City diesel a fierce competitor to Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport

This is an exciting moment for car enthusiasts; the auto industry is suddenly on a car launch gush. The launch of Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport has created waves in the car market. Then there is the Maruti Suzuki XA Alpha and Hyundai mini SUV as well. Another new launch that will create sparks in the car segment is the Honda City diesel. Customers will surely be engaged in moments of quandary, choosing a car is now the toughest task ever.

Honda’s first diesel project was the Amaze sedan, and this is a first time mystery, the demand levels of the car is sky rocketing. The Amaze has contributed heaps of profits to the company. With the City diesel, the diesel part of it is what will attract customers. The car will be equipped with a potent 1.5 liter power train with iDTEC technology.

Honda has incorporated an interesting design philosophy for the car, called ‘Exciting H Design’. To abbreviate on this it means High Touch, High Tension and High Technology. The fact that the phrase Exciting is used makes this an incredible interesting piece and the phrases Exciting and High complement each other. To further elaborate on the hidden meaning behind the design theme, it firm body and power packed technology. It is a combination of stability and technology, this is not the first time the Exciting H Design concept is used, and Honda has adopted this unique and novel concept in its Fit car.

For those who are fascinated with the Honda City, the next-gen City diesel is a new surprise package, and customers can await some interesting surprises. The front portion is tailored with artistically designed elongated wrap around head lights, new sporty grille. The back is garnished with creative lines and creases that extend to the dickey along with new arty LED tail lights.

The next-gen City will be a reliable product in terms of mileage, expected to be superior to the present diesel and petrol models. The engine used is called Earth Dreams Technology also used in Amaze sedan. The Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster are two models which have created waves among the public, and the demand levels are supremely high. The two models have elevated the prestige of Indian auto industry.

Ford has generated significant fortunes with its EcoSport, the same scenario is observed with Duster. The City is on par with both models, and is the top selling Honda car. Now with the launch of next-gen City, one can imagine the roaring sale impact.

Auto analysts will foresee only success vibes with the next-gen City diesel, since Honda has managed to work wonders with Amaze. This will cause an element of worry for Renault and Ford. Sources have stated that booking procedures for the car has already started, and to pre-book the car customers will have to shell out Rs 40,000-50,000.

The car will arrive in showrooms on the 25th of November, and the expected launch date is early next year. The competition has indeed heated up like never before and the impact is as high as a series of dashing cars.
