Honda CR V is the first ever SUV from Honda for the Indian market, and it is not just another SUV but is a status symbol for Indian Automobile owners. The tern CR V stands for civic recreation vehicle and is based on the Honda civic sedan. Recently Honda has unveiled its fourth generation Honda CR V and has incorporated a lot of styling with the new car to mark the difference of the current model which looks menacing and elegant that its predecessors.

Power& Performance:

The Honda CRV is a mid-sized SUV and is available with two engine choices. It is powered by a 2.0 Liter I VTEC engine that could generate a power of 143 bhp and a torque of 190 NM. The vehicle is mated with a 6 speed manual transmission system. The vehicle offers an excellent mileage of 13.1 kmpl. Its 2.4 liter I-VTEC engine could generate a torque of 218 NM and a power of 161 bhp. Two types of gear transmission system are accustomed to the engine. The vehicle has a tough boy with an independent suspension system that affords a smooth and quiet cabin even in situations that warrants tough handling.

For users who would desire rough handling and sporty Rive, the vehicle is enabled with a 6 speed manual transmission system, and the additional gear decreases the speed of wheel rotation and also lowers the engine noise. Its 5 speed automatic transmission variant is enabled by a Grade logic control system that again affords a graceful and smooth driving experience on the road.

Honda has imparted all-wheel drive system with the vehicle with options for front wheel driving at normal circumstances, users are however free to switch over to all wheel drive at any time depending on the conditions of the terrain.

The SUV has an expressive and dynamic forward cabin offering it a rugged and sculpted appearance. It has a two-step front grille with an arched window, getting the distinctive look of Honda cars. The design of rear bumper and fog lamps are amazing.

The new Honda CR-V flaunts a re-sculpted hood and a new front bumper and rear bumper design as well as oval shape fog lamps. The new CR-V is powered by a 10 spoke alloy wheel offering the SUV a sporty look and aggressive stand. Its cockpit is pretty impressive with a dynamic dashboard and leather upholstery. Its interiors offer a premium look with audio controls incorporated with chrome finish and dashboard controls in the center console. Its vanity mirror is associated with lights for visibility assistance in darkness. Its music system features with a USB port in the upper glove compartment and is fitted with climate controls, multi-info display, silent cabin and tilt telescopic steering wheel.

Safety features:

The safety features have been enhanced with the CR variant of Honda and is upgraded with airbags – 6 in number, powered by occupant position detection system. The strong vehicle body could control situations during a collision or crash, termed as a G force control system. Therefore the vehicle is crash compatible compared with its competitors.
