Honda has a range of exciting upcoming products like Mobilio MPV, fourth-generation City diesel, and Vezel. For more exciting news, the company is keen to launch its classic piece Freed Multi-Purpose Vehicle to offer stiff competition with Toyota Innova.
Honda has challenged the existing competition in Indian car market, the company had ventured into its first diesel project with the launch of Amaze sedan. The Amaze since launch has been on head on collision with Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, now we can expect the same level with Freed MPV and Toyota Innova.
Honda Cars India is keen to bring in the Freed MPV to ASEAN segments in mid 2014. Honda Freed is not a new launch; the car has been on a profit role in various globally acclaimed car markets. Honda has fuelled customer excitement levels with its new stunning projects. Honda’s new launches are different from the usual; particularly the launch of Mobilio MPV, a seven seat crossover utility model, the design structure is adopted from Brio. The car will be showcased at the upcoming Delhi auto expo even in month of February.
Honda is working on next-gen Freed and Toyota is working out its next-gen Innova model. The two cars are in the design stage; Innova is appreciated for its ideal family car status, and is an appreciation figure for large families. Honda will introduce its Freed MPV to India, and it will be the battle between the more ideal family car.
A spokesperson from Honda car India stated, the firm at present has not decided on the launch procedures of Honda Freed for Indian markets. The company at present is focusing on MPV category and will introduce the Mobilio MPV in 2014, and Freed will launch a couple of years later.
The Innova is a key profit player for Toyota and has recorded highest sales for the company. Since launch the car is in huge demand, the profit sale output has crossed huge significant figures of 4.5 lakhs till the November month. It costs Rs 9.7 -15 lakhs.
