Honda has revealed 2 new special edition models of its Civic sedan in its Malaysian website. The special edition models are dubbed as the Mugen and Modulo. These new special edition models will not have mechanical specifications changes and come only with added body kits. The new Civic SE models will be essentially offered with exclusive Mugen and Modulo body kits.

The Civic SE in the Malaysian car market with Modulo and Mugen body kits are offered as a comprehensive package that results in huge price reduces the prices of these models. Civic Modulo is priced at RM 1,800 and the Mugen kit is priced at RM 5,800. Both these special edition models, thus offer great value for money package to the consumers as compared to the prices that one has to shell out to buy these body kits separately as aftermarket accessories

The car market of India will not get the Honda Civic SE, but the Japanese car major surely has a new car for the Indian market, which will come in the form of the Mobilio MPV. The new Mobilio MPV has been recently unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, and it is scheduled to make its market launch in India by the month of July, this year. The Honda Mobilio has been already launched in Indonesia. Post its market launch in India, the Mobilio will be pitched against a lot of rival models from various car makers. The car will primarily fight with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy, Ashok Leyland Stile and Nissan Evalia.

The Honda Mobilio is a premium MPV that comes with the seating capacity of 7 passengers and 3 rows of comfortable seating arrangement. The Mobilio is a very premium multi-purpose vehicle with lavish and smart interiors that Honda is known for. The comfortable cabin will thus offer loads of head and leg room, and great extendable boot space with foldable rear seats. The upcoming Honda Mobilio will also offer more space, comfort and premium features as compared to its primary rival model, the very successful Maruti Ertiga.

Ever since Honda tasted great success with its first diesel car, Amaze compact sedan the company has decided to launch all its future cars in both petrol and diesel versions. Mobilio will also not be an exception and will pack in a 1.5 liter iVTEC petrol engine that does the duty under the City’s hood, and the 1.5 liter iDTEC diesel engine that runs the Amaze.

Honda is also very conscious about pricing its new cars right to ensure its continuous astral success further. Thus, the Mobilio will be priced very competitively to beat market competition and will share a lot of components from its sibling models to keep its price low. As the Ertiga is the primary target for the Honda Mobilio, it is expected to have starting price range of about Rs. 6.25 lakhs and Rs. 9 lakhs for the its top diesel trim.
