Made in India new Honda City launched in Nepal

The all new Honda City sedan has launched in Nepal by the sole official Honda cars distributor in the Himalayan country, Syakar Trading Company (STC). The India made 2014 fourth generation Honda City launched in Nepal in a glittery function on 20th of this month. The all new Honda City was launched in the presence of the general manager of Honda Cars India LTD. Mr. P.R Ramakrishnan and the chairman of Jyoti Group, Padma Jyoti, while the chairman of STC Saurabh Jyoti and the vice chairman of STC Suhrid Jyoti were also present to grace the ceremony.

While speaking at the launch of the all new City, chairman of Jyoti Group Padma Jyoti said that the company is confident that the customers of Nepal will really appreciate the new generation model of the esteemed sedan and it will surely be a great success in the market.

While commenting on the new Honda City,  the GM of Honda Cars India,  Ramakrishnan that the 2014 all new Honda City was first lunched in India in the month of January and it has been introduced to the customers of Nepal after 2 months of the car’s Indian market launch. He added that Nepal is the 3rd nation where country where the new City has launched followed by its launch in the car markets of India and Thailand. He added that the company is confident about this model’s ability to grab new market share in Nepal for Honda Motors.

On the other hand, Mr. Saurabh Jyoti, the chairman of STC said that the new City has been specifically developed for the Indian as well as Asian markets and is well equipped to offer the best performance for such road conditions. The new generation City offers great sporty and sleek design and offers enhanced space and optimal comfort to the customers.

The all new 2014 Honda City is driven by a 1500 cc 4-cylinder motor that has the capability to churn out a max power output of 119 PS and a peak torque of 145 Nm. The new generation model of the classy sedan boasts of new contemporary and more stylish exterior design, more cabin space owing to its bigger proportions and a great feature list. It offers a host of premium features such as wrap around tail lamps, bold and stylish front grille, electric sunroof, electrically foldable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, rear air conditioning vents, rear view camera, iPhone compatibility, push button engine start and stop, dual SRS airbags for the front seats, impact extenuating headrests and many more. The car also offers enhanced interior space and larger cargo space than its predecessor.

The new Honda City is available in the car market of Nepal with a starting price of 2.425 million Nepali currency that goes up to 4.75 million for the top-end variant. The new City comes in 6 body color options of alabaster crystal black, taffeta white, sliver metallic, carnelian red pearl, pearl and urban titanium metallic and golden brown metallic.
