Honda has once again recorded impressive profits, and this time it is the biggest in recent times. The company has noted an 83% profit, and the new City sold like wild fire in 2014 March. The City was launched in 2014 Jan, and about 9,518 pieces of the car were sold in March.

All-New 2015 Fit

The new Honda City is the fourth generation model and is not just a progression from the earlier model but a revolutionary piece. The car is draped with a new innovative design technology called Exciting H Design, and its most fierce rival is Hyundai Verna. Prior and little after the launch of new City, the hot topic of discussion was if the new City will over power the dominant posh sedan stature of Hyundai Verna. Those who have guessed that Honda could out do the Verna with new City, it has happened.

Honda sold 18,426 vehicles in 2014 March, the company’s continuous sale saga started with the launch of Amaze in 2013 April. Amaze is the next best performer after City with the sale of 7,374 pieces. There are many takers for the Brio as well with the sale of1, 456 pieces, and is an improvement from the earlier month by 20%.

Honda has been on a profit roll for months since 2013 April, and now let’s review its grand annual profits, which is a phenomenal 1.34 lakhs, and 83% increase from Financial Year 12 to 13 period. On the remarkable yearly sales yielded, the Senior Vice President in the sales and marketing division of the company, Jnaneswar Sen stated, ‘’with the launch of two new operating units, along with two stylish pieces and mid range MPV, the new Honda Jazz and Mobilio MPV are due to launch in the current financial year, and we are looking forward to another year of positive growths.

Honda built the new Tapukara unit in February; the launch of the new plant is to cater to the overflowing demand of its cars, especially Amaze and City. There has been news circulated about the company aiming to expand its dealership units, in tier 3 and tier 2 cities. The present dealership capacity of Honda is 170 saturated in 107 cities, and is expected to increase to about 230 in the near future. The increase in dealership capacity over the past months has been 35%.

Honda has made stunning profits with Amaze and 2014 City, and has new launches in the pipeline. The upcoming Honda cars to look forward to are Jazz and Mobilio MPV. One of the mysteries behind Honda’s impressive yearly success is the fitment of 1.5 liter iVTEC and iDTEC engines first used in Amaze. The same engine is inserted in new City and will also be used in Jazz and Mobilio MPV.

Honda’s magnificent success in 2013 from April was contributed by Amaze, and since the launch of City in Jan 2014, the excellent sale outputs were contributed by new City and Amaze. The 2014 City yielded maximum sales in March, and now one can imagine the growth graph of Honda in 2014 with Amaze, City, Jazz and Mobilio MPV.
