Honda Cars India has two amazing launches this fiscal year, the new Jazz and Mobilio MPV. Mobilio MPV presents new wave of excitement, because it looks magnificently grand and resembles a van from the side. Honda’s cars are known to be grand for years, and Mobilio MPV is a killer launch. It is a brand new car, and hence most the excitement is concentration on the car than new Jazz.

Honda has announced that it will launch Mobilio MPV sometime during the July to September period. The production procedure for the car has commenced, and the first batch will arrive from the company’s established unit in Noida. The market launch will happen sometime between July and September.

According to a Honda company official ‘’the company is keen to target high localization percentage for Mobilio. It does not pose much of a challenge because Mobilio is an MPV version of Brio and Amaze, and both models have been developed from indigenous materials. Honda’s current localization outcome is 90%.

According to Mr Sen the cabin room in Mobilio is so enormous to an extent that it would make it a segment leader. Honda has adopted high localization content in 2009 Jazz models, which is as high as 72 to 73%. Honda aims to more than 72% localization with the new Jazz.

Honda Mobilio MPV Front Picture

Apart from looking splendidly grand, Mobilio is Honda’s first MPV venture for Indian markets. As mentioned earlier it is built on Brio platform, and the interesting part here is Brio is hatch and Mobilio is two times bigger than Brio. The car is indeed highly localized, from the front Mobilio looks like Amaze and Brio, and the three cars have the same body panels that extend to B pillar. The only variations are sportier chin and wider grille.

The design creativity lies in the rear portion, and Honda has introduced tweaks to make the car resemble a van. The rear pillar takes on an arty floating design, and wheel arches are flared, and the wheels are mighty solid and measure 15 inches. MPV’s are fascination symbols in India because of the size alone, and Mobilio looks stunning from the back garnished with huge tail lights and wraparound back windscreen. The style quotient is more supreme than its arch rival Ertiga, and the car portrays an incredibly youthful stance.

Mobilio is a stunner at first sight and the public will wonder about the measurement aspects of the car. It is 245mm long, and its wheelbase dimension is 2650mm. The insides are as grand as the exteriors decorated with a majestic beige and black theme. The car will move on robust iDTEC 1.5 liter engine that also powers the Amaze, and is more powerful than its fierce contender Ertiga.

The new Honda Jazz looks great and the launch date is sometime in 2015, the car was displayed at 2014 Auto Expo and will move on robust 1.5 liter diesel and 1.2 liter petrol engine.

Honda has achieved great deal of localization with Mobilio, and the end result is a grand product.
