Considering the huge prospects and massive popularity of the compact SUV models in the global car markets, the Vezel SUV from the house of Honda Motors is expected to be a superb hit among the global urban SUV enthusiasts, as the Vezel is a very stylish and premium compact SUV and has all the great qualities of a worthy Honda car.

This new Honda HR-V or Vezel SUV measures 4,295 mm long, 1,770 mm wide, 1,605 mm tall and has a massive wheelbase of 2,610mm. The Honda HR-V has very sleek and stylish design despite its SUV status and has a very alluring visual appeal. The vehicle flaunts a great and aggressively designed front fascia and also showcases sharp character lines to enhance its bold appeal. The SUV flaunts very shapely overall body design and comes with sloping roofline that is similar to the vehicle’s bigger sibling, the Honda CRV SUV. The rear door handles are concealed with the window sills and the C-pillar and this gives the vehicle the look of a 2-door coupe. The rear design of the HR-V compact SUV is created as per the rest of the vehicle’s design and is equally attractive and bold, with great tail lights and stylish cuts and creases.

There are official words on the under the hood specifications of the Honda HR-V SUV as yet. However, as per the reports, the new upcoming Honda HR-V SUV will be available in both petrol as well as diesel versions. The HR-V diesel is reported to be powered by a 1.6 liter diesel motor which also does the duty under the hood of the European spec Honda CR-V as well as the Honda Civic. The HR-V’s petrol variants are expected to be powered by the new Honda VTEC Turbo mills which include a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder and a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine.

Earlier there were high speculations about Honda considering bringing in the Honda Vezel or the HR-V in the Indian car market as well. However, these speculations were soon put to rest, as Honda found out that the Vezel will not be very cost effective for the Indian market.

Nevertheless, the Japanese carmaker is very eager to launch a compact SUV in India where the baby SUVs are highly popular, and is developing a new Brio based mini SUV for India.

The new Honda HR-V will be competing with the likes of Nissan Juke and Nissan Qashqai in Europe.
