The new Honda vehicle also boasts of an expanded view driver’s mirror, a 4-way power passenger seat and a standard Pandora interface across all its models. The new 2014 Odyssey will be available in five trim models, ranging from the base LX model, followed by the EX, EX-L, Touring finally reaching the top-trim model EX-L Touring Elite version that carries the highest tag of $44,450.

As far as the technical specifications are concerned the all new 2014 Honda Odyssey will continue to get power from the same 3.5 liter V6 motor that has the capability to produce a maximum power of 248 horsepower and a peak torque of 250 lb-ft. However, according to the Japanese car maker, the new car comes with new technical updates that will ensure that vehicle offers the best-in-class fuel economy across all trims. The engine is mated to a six speed automatic transmission gearbox that is also standard across all of the new Odyssey’s five trim models.

The high-end top trim of the new 2014 Odyssey, the Touring Elite boasts of a whole host of world-class safety features and creature comfort. The most noteworthy of all these new features is the Odyssey Touring Elite’s pricey in-vehicle vacuum cleaning system. The new Odyssey becomes the first minivan to receive its exclusive vacuum cleaner that is called the HondaVAC. The HondaVAC operates on the minivan’s 12-volt electrical system and the compact and handy cleaning system is stored at the back of the car.

This new HondaVAC vacuum cleaner of the new 2014 Odyssey has also created news for itself. The 2014 Odyssey created waves during its debut with the new in-car vacuum cleaner. The HondaVac is also known to be a very expensive accessory and thus it finds its rightful place in the range topping model, the Touring Elite.

The all new 2014 Honda Odyssey now comes with a rated fuel efficiency of 19 mpg while running on the city roads and 28 mpg on the long stretches of highway, and this is standard again in all its five trims as compared against the previous model, where only the top two trim models came with the 6 speed gearbox that made the lower trims offer slightly lower fuel efficiency.

The all new 2014 Honda Odyssey is also fully equipped with all the world-class safety features including Honda’s Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning systems as well as the LaneWatch blind-spot tech.
