Honda Cars India is recognized for its luxurious and efficient cars, some of its premium creations are City, Accord, Civic, and Brio and so on. Despite the current harsh macro economic conditions that have haunted car firms for over six months, Honda has managed to churn impressive profits with sale outcome of 88%. The secret behind this remarkable figure is the launch of Amaze diesel. According to sources, Honda Cars India might rip apart the dominant status of Tata Motors and grab the 3rd best auto firm tag in India.

Honda City 2014 India

The diesel Amaze was unveiled in 2013 April, and is priced at Rs 5.99 lakhs, which is similar to its arch rival Maruti Swift DZire. When recession hit India, for the past 6 months Honda India rolled out more vehicles than its strong auto contender Tata Motors. As mentioned the company managed to release 10,345 pieces in September this year, which is a massive 88% sale increase compared to the same period last year. Honda has out beaten Tata Motors by selling 600 more vehicles.

The publicity levels with Amaze has been high months before its launch, people were excited by the fact that the diesel version of the car would yield a stunning mileage figure of 25.8kmpl. When launched the car churned impressive fortunes, and was rated well by consumers.

According to Anand Sharma, a senior analyst from HIS Automotive Consulting, ‘Tata Motors has not managed to perform to its optimum, and this has worked well for Honda. He also said Honda has been consistent in yielding robust sales.’

Amaze diesel has fuelled significant profits for the company; Honda India is working on new diesel projects such as CR-V, Civic and Accord diesel. It would be interesting to observe if the awaiting new diesel cars will also generate amazing sales.

The Amaze sports a trendy design with stretched back head lights and creative side graphics. The boot volume is massive at 400 liters; the car is fitted with a potent iVTEC power train with SOHC technology. The petrol engine delivers efficient outputs of 98.6 and 86.7 bhp and the diesel mill releases 109Nm and 100Nm torque values.

The petrol car maneuvers on a mileage of 18 kmpl and for the diesel car it is 25.8kmpl.

The car is offered in interesting and professional colors to match its splendid sale portfolio, with majestic blue mattlic, crystal black pearl, urban titanium metallic, carnelian red pearl, alabaster silver metallic and taffeta white.

The design, engine capacity, mileage and colors are the customer grabbing features of Amaze. The outstanding mileages with the petrol and diesel model make driving long distances on a daily basis more convenient than ever before. Consumers do not have to worry too much about stopping at a bunk frequently. Amaze is delivered in interesting shades to complement its royal profit figures.

It would be interesting to witness the mileage, colors and engine capacities of Honda India’s upcoming diesel models. An interesting point here is whether its new diesel projects will also deliver magical results, we will have to wait and watch.
