Honda, lately launched the much awaited fourth gen Honda City, it is exciting to learn about the launch of new City and the fourth gen City has a new meaning inscribed to it. It is not a progression of the third gen car but an evolutionary piece, tailored with a new design theory called Exciting H design. The expectations are hence enormously high and Honda has lived up to the expectations, the car looks pretty urbane, packed with high quality materials, and greater interior room. The interior décor is amazing with abundant legroom, and is more posh than the earlier car.

The standout characteristic of the launch of 2014 City is the fitment of a diesel engine. This is the first time a diesel engine is used in the City, and the best part is it is a novel innovation of Earth Dreams technology. The new City diesel runs on potent 1.5 liter iDTEC engine that emits 100 Ps power and 200Nm torque. The engine is attached to 6-speed transmission gearbox and the mileage offered is among the best in its class at 26kmpl. Petrol City car maneuvers on an advanced iVTEC engine that pumps out 119PS similar to the engine output of the previous model. The petrol engine is attached to CVT and five speed manual gearbox, and the mileage offered by the manual and automatic transmission is 17.9kmpl and 18kmpl.

Customers can choose from a series of petrol options such as VX, V, SV, S and E, and for the diesel car the options are VX and SV. There are six amazing shades to choose from such as Taffeta White, Golden Brown, Crystal Black, Urban Titanium, Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver. The 2014 City is in huge demand, and to meet the enormous orders Honda aims to establish eleven more outlets by March end, an expansion of the current 159 dealerships.

The price of base City petrol model is Rs 7.42 lakhs, the starting price of diesel car is Rs 8.62 lakhs and the automatic model costs Rs 9.49 lakhs.

Nissan Sunny is a premium sedan piece launched a few years ago, and is certainly attention grabbing contributed by the assortment of stylish and sporty exteriors, and dynamic curves which enhances the overall classic sophisticated appeal.

The interior décor of Nissan Sunny is top notch highlighted by the vibrant dual tone theme visible on dashboard, audio system, vents and air con with manual or automatic facilities. The interior room is luxuriously spacious and amazingly lavish.

Nissan Sunny is equipped with potent four cylinder 1.5 liter petrol engine that churns impressive energy outputs of 134Nm and 100PS attached to 5 speed manual gearbox. The diesel car runs on four cylinder K9K engine and releases 200Nm and 86Ps.

The fuel efficiency values are 17 kmpl on highways and 15kmpl on ideal city roads

Nissan Sunny is sold with an array of options in petrol and diesel category, the choices with petrol car is XL AT, XV, XL and XE. The diesel car is rolled in diesel special edition, diesel XV and diesel XL. The car costs Rs 6.4 to 10 lakhs.

2014 Honda City is a better pick in terms of new exterior design theme and mileage.
