Honda is an eminent brand in India with its exclusive range of City, Civic and Accord models. The current harsh macro-economic conditions have taken a toll on major auto figures, but Honda has managed to yield impressive sale fortunes. The launch of Amaze is the driving force behind the companys phenomenal success. In October 2013, Honda recorded a splendid 85percent sale profit, compared to the year-ago period, and majority of sales was contributed by Amaze.

The Amaze was unveiled in April 2013, since then Hondas market share has risen to around 6.8 percent compared to 2.7 percent in the 2012 to 2013 period. Honda stands third in market share segment, up from the 5th spot noted in March. When first launched in April around 4,852 piece of Amaze was sold, contributing to 57 percent of overall sales. Today 9,564 units of the car are rolled out accounting for 85 percent of total sales. For more shocking news, in just 8 months of launch, Honda has reached a spectacular milestone sale record of 50,000 units with the Amaze; the waiting period is 3 months.

For some interesting information, Amaze is Hondas first diesel project, and the first step has left an everlasting stunning impression. The companys debut project has worked wonders. Amaze is a sedan version of Brio and is an exceptionally trendy piece; the front portion is splashed with arty style cues. The front fender and bonnet are remarkably styled, and sports a classy aerodynamic stance. Below the head lamp cluster there is a huge air inlet grille, which spices up the magnificent appeal of the car. The headlamps are layered into embossed structures, and its side profile is garnished with imaginative graphics.

The mileage is a strong attention-grabbing feature, this aspect of the car was writing about extensively months before its launch. Amaze diesel maneuvers with a 25.8 kmpl mileage known to be the best-in-its class, the petrol car yields 18kmpl. Customers today, rely on fuel efficient models like Amaze, because the current work scenario requires frequent in between city travels to attend meetings, conferences and so on. Amaze is tailored into a below four meter car, step into the interiors, and the cabin volume seems never ending for a below 4 meter sedan. Driving the car is known to be incredibly comfortable; the air conditioning apparatus and music system is strategically located, so that the driver has ample space to shift gears. Five passengers can hop into the car, to add to the excitement that are ample storage and comfort resources like cup holder and arm rest. For a life-remembering vacation experience, the voluminous 400 liter boot is sufficient to stuff in heaps of luggage.

Amaze is a sub 4 meter sedan, but does not appear so, taking into account the roomy interiors and boot volume. This is where the grand surprise factor emerges from, and buyers are certainly taken in by the blow, and hence the overflowing demands for the car.
