Honda has been on a steep profit ride in the past few months, in November 2013 the company noted by whooping 151% profit compared to the corresponding year. The launch of Amaze has worked wonders for the company, and is the backbone behind Honda’s admirable profits. Launched in April 2013, Amaze is Honda’s first diesel project, the phrase first implies a huge risk, particularly during the current turbulent recession phase, but for the company it is a pathway to impressive profits. The engine technology used here is called Earth Dreams Diesel, into a newly invented i-DTEC mill. In October 2013, Honda rolled out 11579 vehicles, and 9,564 Amaze vehicles were sold, now imagine the level of profits contributed by the car. The demand for Amaze is massive to an extent that Honda is keen to establish a third unit in Noida, to minimize the waiting period.

Honda Amaze sports an exceptional eye candy image, contributed by the neat side graphics, and artistically molded headlights. The main attention-grabbing feature with this car is the 25.8 kmpl mileage offered by the diesel engine, known to be the best in its class. This factor was written about months before the Amaze was launched. Its petrol counterpart is pretty fuel efficient as well and maneuvers with an 18 kmpl mileage.

Amaze is a below four meter package, those who have test driven or own the car will certainly feel shock waves, the interiors are luxuriously spacious for an under four meter sedan. The boot volume is mighty 400 liters.

The insides are garnished with a royal beige and black color theme, the air con and music devise are strategically placed, so that the driver can have a firm grip of the car. To immerse in a world of soothing music, the speakers are attached in an area where the sound base is not too pounding. Five occupants can sit comfortably at the back, and there is also a cup holder and armrest. Amaze is a sensational package in terms of interior room and comfort, mileage, appearance, colors and price. Hence the overflowing profits.
